A Dysport Treatment Session
A Dysport treatment is quick, convenient and virtually pain-free. The treatment area will be cleansed in preparation for the injections, and a topical anesthetic may be applied.
Dr. Pantazopoulos will use a fine needle to inject small amounts of Dysport into the area of the wrinkle(s). You may feel a slight prick, but it won't be painful. She will inject the product strategically, paying close attention to your natural expressions and facial structures. Less-experienced injectors may over-correct, producing a frozen or surprised expression, but Dr. Pantazopoulos is careful to inject the product precisely and accurately so you preserve your unique facial animation.
After Dr. Pantazopoulos has finished the injections, you should apply a cold compress to the treated area to reduce any swelling and discomfort. Avoid rubbing or massaging the treated area, which could cause the product to migrate.
